Traveling as Couple
We first stayed at this hotel in February 2009 and had a great experience. So, when we were looking to get away for the weekend this month (Oct. 09), we decided to return. We found a great rate, and we remembered how nice and new the room was. This time around, we were slightly disappointed because we were looking forward to relaxing and watching movies, like we always do when we get a hotel for the weekend. When we turned on the TV after checking into our room, however, we found that there was no Pay-Per-View. So, we called the front desk and were told that they no longer had this service available. We still had a nice time and the room was very nice and clean, with a comfortable bed. However, I wish I had known that in 8 months' time, a hotel would decide to get rid of pay-per-view (which I consider to be a standard amenity for hotels). Also, I'm giving a low rating for Service because we were completely out of toilet paper and tissues a few hours before it was time to check out, and we only stayed there for one night! There was just a half a roll when we got there, with no extras (and we didn't realize this until we ran out). When I asked the front desk, they said someone would be coming up, but no one ever came. I ended up grabbing a box of tissues from one of the housekeeping carts in the hallway (there was no toilet paper on the cart). Solo Traveler
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet had lots of fresh and varied food to offer. I would stay here again.
